Hi I’m Kathryn, welcome to For Sleep Sake!

I am so excited you are here to explore your options to give your children and yourself some healthy, quality sleep we all need!

A little bit about myself; I love to travel and have been very lucky to travel to many different countries and submerge myself into their cultures. I love learning about the way people live their lives in their own unique ways! I am a sucker for water, in a floatie on a lake, jumping waves, scuba diving in the ocean or dipping my toes in a pool. I love animals and may have a small obsession with dachshund dogs and octopuses. I am well known for my eclectic music taste and my love of going to a variety of shows concerts and shows! I spent a year living in Brisbane, Australia on a gap year after high school. It was one of the most amazing and influential trips I’ve ever been on and I was able to learn more about myself and the world than I ever imagined, making friends from all over the world and being able to have a whole new appreciation for life.

I’ve worked with children most of my life. Growing up, my mother owned a well-known and distinguished childcare center in Saint Paul, Close To Home. Starting off, I was always watching my cousins and children in the neighborhood; the passion for working with children has followed me throughout my life. Every summer possible, if not traveling, it was spent nannying for families of all sizes, ages and developmental levels. I spent a few wonderful years teaching at my mother’s childcare center with a variety of ages from babies to preschool, eventually co-teaching a preschool class of my own. Having gained the experience working with so many different types of families, children and parents, it lead me to discover the importance of a good nights rest.

When I started looking further into the practice; I knew it was something I was meant to do. Sleep is such an essential, but often overlooked, aspect of one’s health and wellbeing; Implementing healthy, quality sleep habits established from a young age has a great impact on a lifetime of success. Teaching children and their parents to get the sleep they need is my main motivator and I can’t wait to help you!
